Continuing Education Requirements

All ABO-NCLE certifications are valid for three (3) years. Continuing education credits (CECs) must be earned within the three year (3) certification period and may not be accumulated and carried over from one period to another. All CECs and renewal fees are due on or before your expiration date.

There is a 90-day grace period from the date of your certification expiration where you can still renew by paying the renewal fee plus an additional $50 late fee in order to renew your certification.  After the 90 days, you are no longer eligible to renew and must reinstate by complying with the Reinstatement Requirements.
